CORE SERVICES: GROUNDED IN MOLECULAR-CELLULAR PHYSIOLOGY CONCEPTS:

HEALTH-RELATED PHYSICAL FITNESS ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION.  

- Screening based on our intake protocol.

This involves an initial assessment that involves the behavioral psychological component.


- Resting vitals measurement.

Blood pressure, heart rate, resting metabolism, BMI, ECG trace, body composition on BMI, Visceral fat, body fat, muscle mass, and correlates.


- Stress tests.

We use two modes of stress testing as determined by the results from your screening and your assessed characteristics.

a) Cycle ergometer.

b) Treadmill.


  • Health-related stress tests characterize your volume of oxygen consumption and are correlated to your blood lactate accumulation and the related work-out loads.


  • When necessitated, the stress test can also be a source of referral for a review of underlying macro complications and micro-complications.

*Micro-complications:

Nephro-pathy which is a condition associated with renal 'Kidney' disease.

*Macro-complications:

Chronic Heart Diseases, autonomic neuro-pathy.


TYPE-2-DIABETES TREATMENT AND MANAGEMENT.

*This program is designed around a 12-weeks package.

 - Exercise stress testing and subsequent training.

Sub-components:

Health-related physical fitness assessment and evaluation.

Nutrition and dietary assessment.

Body weight characterization.

Individualized exercise training intervention.


WEIGHT CONTROL.

Description:

- This approach is based on our body composition training program.

Sub-components:

Health-related physical fitness assessment and evaluation

Nutrition and dietary assessment.

Individualized exercise training intervention (Resistance training and Cardio-metabolic training).


PHYSICAL THERAPY.

* This is a Biomechanics "Kinesiology" based approach.


Ranging from:

 - Soft-tissue injury rehabilitation,

 - Lower Back Pain,

 - Lower body extremities muscle and bone pain when you are in motion.

Intervention is by:

a) Hydrotherapy.

b) Motion analysis.

c) Kin-anthropometry.

d) Body bi-lateral deficits assessment.
